EEL native coin economics
EEL is the native coin of EEL Core 1.00. It is not ERC-20 and is not represented by a contract address on another chain.
Core parameters
- Symbol: EEL
- Native decimals: 18
- Chain ID: 20260423
- Default block reward: 10 EEL
- Base transaction fee: 0.0005 EEL
- Fee recipient: miner of the confirming block
- Dynamic fee: enabled, with higher fees under heavier mempool pressure
Distribution
The default genesis allocation is empty. That means the default release is mining-first and does not allocate a premine in genesis.json.
Operators who modify genesis allocations must disclose them clearly before launch. A changed genesis changes the genesis hash and separates the network.
Supply model
EEL Core 1.00 does not encode a hard maximum supply. Issuance comes from Proof-of-Work block rewards. Actual emission depends on block production, difficulty retarget behavior and whether the network is actively mined.
The absence of a hard cap must be understood before running or promoting a network. Future releases can introduce supply changes only through transparent consensus changes.
Risks
Mining distribution can be uneven when a network is new. Low hashrate may allow a small number of miners to collect many early rewards. Fees are designed for anti-spam pressure, not as an investment promise.
EEL has no guaranteed market value, no exchange listing guarantee and no profit promise.
